SINGLES LADDER TOURNAMENT

General Rules:

• Players need to challenge at least once every 15 days (1/2 month) or they will fall down 3 slots.

• Players play at any location, date and time mutually agreed to by both challenger and challenged.

• Challenger brings a new can of balls. (3 or 4)

• Match format: 2 out of 3 sets. 3rd set will be a super tie-breaker (1st to 10, win by 2).  *If both players agree, a full 3rd set can be played.

Overview

• Players are placed in the ladder in the order they sign up, or by their "strength" level.

• Players challenge other players up to 3 slots above their ranking or anyone with a lower "strength" level.

• If you win, you move into the other player’s spot, pushing those in between down a slot. If you lose, you move down 1, 2 or 3 slots, depending on how far the player you challenged was above you.

• There will be a play-off for the top 8 players in each Division and prizes for champion and runner-up.

• Report match results to Elite America Tennis as soon as possible. Updates to rankings will be made weekly.
